If you are considering moving to a big city, you need to consider both the pluses and minuses involved. Tourists will also be taking up the streets and creating traffic jams by standing there wide eyed, mouths agape, pointing at skyscrapers and taking pictures of every last little thing. You will also most likely feel crowded even when you are in the safety of your apartment. The cost of rent in NYC is mind-blowingly high which means that the only apartment you will likely afford will be small in size, and occupied by several other roommates.
