With the right instruction and guidance, you can make more money than you're making at your day job within a couple of months. Here's how to start. 1. Decide What You'll Write The easiest way to get started is by writing articles for the Web. Web articles are short; most are between 300 and 700 words. Shorter is better on the screen; your readers want to get their information as quickly as possible. Blogging is a specialized form of article writing which is suitable for new writers. Many businesses outsource their blogging; so it's possible to to pick up low-paying jobs fast. These low-paying jobs give you the expertise to tackle blog jobs which pay more. 2. Learn How to Write Take a course or other instruction in writing in your chosen area. You can take out paid advertising, or you can choose to advertise on one or several of the free classifieds sites. 5. Turn One Client Into Many Your first client is the key to your success. Complete the project on time: this gets you many bonus points. Above all, your clients are looking for signs that you'll be reliable. Ask your client for a testimonial, and for further writing work.
