You must have heard that making someone smile is not an easy task, but annoying one is. Do a little flip flop dance in front of someone and voila, that person is annoyed. How do you do so in a professional world? By making websites that are utterly nonsense and can annoy the user in seconds. See, your websites are the soul of your physical existence in the world of internet. If you don’t present your existence in a more sophisticated and professional manner, then you’re going to lose a lot of potential customers. Website Design takes a lot of time to create and since you’re investing so much time so why not do it in a more proper way! Have you ever been annoyed when you visited a website? What made you annoy? Its design? Did it take a lot of time to upload? Numerous other things are present in a website that can annoy almost anyone within milli seconds... Annoy # 1: Pop – ups Oh how much I’d like to sue all those companies that have installed pop – up windows in their web pages! Nothing distracts a user more than the pop – up windows; they appear anytime from anywhere and can disturb, actually put off the user so much that he might never visit your website again. Annoy # 2: Layering Have you witnessed that how one page has two to three layers in it? Irritating, right? Putting too much layers on a single page can create clutter and make your website heavy and can create a lot of trouble for your firm. Web designers need to be sure that whatever images or theme they’re using in the page should be simple and can be uploaded in seconds. Annoy # 3: Surveys & Questions “Please fill out this survey”... You try to cancel it and say “You need to fill the survey to continue”... You close the website. Is that the reaction firms intend to receive from their customers? Don’t think so. If you want to ask customers something, make it relevant and easy. Don’t impose on them to answer some thing. Annoy # 4: Animations Yes, they add glamour to your website but excessive use can damage the image of your firm. Using too much graphics and 3D animation on your web page can make it heavy to upload and eventually will irritate users making them go away from your website. Annoy # 5: Too much content No matter how much your tag line is interesting and captivating, if the content below the tagline is too stretchy, and then forget it, you’ve lost your customers in a jiffy. Add content that is credible; that can attract customers and keep them tuned in to your web page for more. Don’t waste their time by putting in too much information especially if its unnecessary.
