Whenever we go for a vacation anywhere; whether with our family, or with our friends, or with our colleagues on an official trip, we stay at hotels because we do not have a permanent or temporary residence over there. We desire that we should get the feeling of our home wherever we stay with all the facilities and amenities over there. Actually the meaning of amenities is this only that we should we feel all the comforts of home, In fact more than home. We usually book the hotels in advance or on the spot whenever we go for any trip. Usually hotels are booked in advance when we our going on a planned trip with our family members or some friends. Either we take holiday packages from the agents and go for a holiday which includes everything in the package from to and fro tickets to hotel stay and breakfast and dinner, and entry tickets wherever applicable. Or we opt for self arrangements in which we book our journey tickets by ourselves, according to our convenience and whichever suits us, and we do hotel arrangements on our own according to our pocket whether to stay in a cheap hotel, budget hotel, or a good hotel, boutique hotel or a resort. We eat according to our choice and whenever we want. And when we go for any unplanned trips we usually search the hotels when we reach our destination and book the hotel according to our pocket and our choice and keeping many things in mind because at that time you have the option of comparison between numbers of hotels on different parameters. Let’s talk about the amenities which we get in hotels. Let us first categorize the hotels if you are looking for an affordable hotel or cheap hotel or budget hotels then go for 2 star hotels or 3 star hotels; then if you are looking for an exact feeling which you get at your home, you want to cook food by your own, you want to wash and iron your clothes by your own then go for a homestay or serviced apartments or guesthouses; and if you are looking for a complete comfort with all the amenities available in the world then you must go for a good hotel or boutique hotel or a resort. Now talking about the amenities, nowadays some amenities are very common in every hotel, wherever you go you will find those amenities in your hotel like they usually provide television sets in every room of the hotel, towels in your bathroom, soaps and shampoos in your bathrooms plus all the necessities you will get in each and every hotel. But if you are looking for more then you have to definitely loosen your pocket for your luxuries. Like you have an option of choosing AC in your room in small hotels but in big hotels AC is there in every room it’s your wish whether to use AC or not; then you will get a mini fridge in your room with some soft drinks, juices and beers loaded in it; then if it’s your requirement of WiFi the you can choose your hotel accordingly; apart from that we have electric cattle, microwave oven, bread toaster and many more. Apart from that if you are looking for a swimming pool in your hotel or a pub or bar in your hotel you can choose accordingly. Summary: Whenever we go for a vacation we want that we should relax over there and enjoy at the max. We want more and more amenities and luxuries in our hotels where we stay, because they give us the ultimate comfort. It is a fact that if you are looking for more and more amenities you will get them in some high profile hotels for which you have to definitely loosen up your pocket.
