Fire is probably one of the most destructive elements that were ever invented. People have lost countless things whenever there has been a fire has broken out. In addition, fire claims plenty of peoples’ lives all over the world every few months. That is why; it has become extremely important to know how to use a fire suppression system. The basic things usually used to extinguish a fire are either mud or water. While both of them are usually capable of extinguishing small fires, the situation gets out of hand when something big takes place. In addition, consider the kind of electronic appliances that we use in present times. Truly speaking, most of these appliances are nothing short of trouble. At any point of time, a fire may break out if appliances are misused. In fact, why just appliances? The kind of substances used in deodorants and in many other things is equally inflammable. Most of the times, foam system is used in order to combat big fires. This is ordinarily the system used in most fire extinguishers and hoses used by fire fighters. The security norms presently dictate that a good fire suppression system be used in almost all places of human habitats. That includes your workstation, large places for public gatherings and of course, your apartment buildings. Moreover, fire fighting techniques or saving yourself and others from one in case a fire breaks out is taught to almost everybody in a company nowadays. The first step is to stay calm of course. You can help in fact in other ways. For starters, you should look for fire escape routes whenever you visit a place. There are usually two or four fire escape routes, which might help you to run and help others to do the same. Consider breaking open the glass and taking out the extinguisher using foam system as well. Just make sure that you are safe before you save others.
