OSHA is Occupational Safety and Health Administration act, which was created by the congress in the year 1970. It was created to provide and ensure safe and healthy working condition. OSHA provides in-depth detail about the employer’s responsibilities and the employee’s rights. No matter what size an origination has it has to follow the rules. In case the worker faces any problem then he/ she can file a complaint against the employer. OSHA safety manual gives you every single detail about your right as an employee. It helps you understand your rights and gives you more information to help improve your work condition. It also contains information regarding your responsibility as an employee. This act was made in the 1970 and since then some changes and modifications have been done. Thus it’s best to consult the current administrative interpretation. OSHA also provides osha compliance training guideline. OSHA safety manual gives you an in-depth knowledge about the training that has to be given to the employee by the employer regarding safety and health aspect of their jobs. This training is given to the employee during the initial stages because that’s the time when the employee is at maximum risk of an accident, as he/she is new to the job. The training that is given must have specific goals and objective that has to be accomplished. Then an evaluation is done to know whether the employee has understood the entire thing or not. In case the employee did not fully understand the training program then the employer will have to revise it to make it more effective. It is recommended to keep a record of all the training that has been given because in case of an accident the question can arise that whether the employee was ready for the job or not.
