If I am asked what's the difference between Mizuno MP-69 Irons and MP-59 Irons, the idea first occures to me is that the former with enhanced Muscle Back Technology is more ideal for elite golfers while the later with Ti Muscle Technology offers added forgiveness in a player preferred appearance.
The MP-69 irons are designed with precision craftsmanship to maintain the standards MP players have come to expect. Mizuno used its new 4D Muscle design to ensure the center of gravity is placed in the correct spot in each clubhead to provide unmatched ball and trajectory control. The 4D Technology combined with Grain Flow Forging gives players shot and ball control, and ultimate feel. Utilizing Harmonic Impact Technology, Mizuno scientifically tunes the sound of each club head to further enhance the feel.

Like all of Mizuno's MP irons, the MP-69 is forged using the company's patented Grain Flow Forged process, which provides a buttery smooth feel at impact. And the new trailing edge bevel and modified U-grooves produce ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions.
The sole shape of the Mizuno MP-69 irons was slightly redesigned to maintain effective bounce while increasing overall workability through trailing edge relief. An ideally placed beveled trailing edge delivers more consistent ball striking with a Tour proven sole size and shape. Complete with the appropriate amount of relief for a deeper Center of Gravity (COG), Mizuno’s new sole design increases the versatility of the MP-69 irons. Modified U-grooves, which conform to the Condition of Competition 2010, produce the ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions.
