Kollam Beach
Located near Trivandrum, Kollam is a charming port city with a history of its own. There were trade relations with China signs of which could still be seen as huge Chinese water pots, Chinese fishing nets and designs of boats. This beach is considered an ideal spot for swimming and bathing. You can also take short cruises in the backwaters on a houseboat with all the facilities.
Fort Kochi Beach
A fishing village found just 12 kms from Ernakulam city, Fort Kochi Beach gives a chance for a leisurely walk through the lanes of the city is the best way to discover historic Fort Kochi. Remains of the Indo European architecture are another thing to love here.
Marari Beach
It is a beach in Alappuzha District (also called Alleppey) of Kerala, India. It was among world’s top five HAMMOCK BEACH in a survey done by National Geographic. Fishing is still the main way of life and livelihood.
Poovar Beach
Poovar is well known for its unexplored beach, greenery, banana plantations, coconut trees, and of course, the backwaters. The network of lakes, canals, deltas, lagoons, estuaries and rivers make its backwaters worth visiting.
Varkala beach
Located in Thiruvananthapuram, Varkala beach could be termed calm and secluded and hence the beauty appeals more. It is also known for being a Hindu pilgrimage. Mineral springs on the cliffs of the coastline also attract tourists. Cherai Beach
Cherai Beach, act as a border to the northern end of Vypeen Island. Located around 26 km from Ernakulam city, Kochi, this beach is among the most likable beaches. Coconut palms and fields of paddy enhance the photographic essence of the beach. Also referred to as “The Princess of the Queen of the Arabian sea”, Cherari is cleanest and shiniest of all.
