Melt butter, add milk followed by sugar. • Stir it regularly, wait till it boil. • Cook it for more 2 to 3 minutes on low flame and then add milk powder. • Stir it well, add cardamom powder in the batter. The batter should be a thick and it should not stick to the pan. Remove it from the flame when bubble appears. • Mix almond powder, salt and rose essence. • Pour into a tray and allow it to set. Decorate it with almonds • Slice it into pieces and serve Sooji Halwa: Ingredients: • 1/2 cup sooji (semolina flour) • 1/4 cup ghee • 1/3 cup sugar • 1 1/2cup water • Pinch of cardamom powder • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds for garnishing Method: 1. Boil the water with sugar, and cardamom powder in a pan over low medium heat. Bring to a boil and Set aside. 2. Melt the butter in a frying pan on medium heat. 3. Add sooji and roast to golden brown color; stirring constantly this will take about 5 to 8 minutes. Add water and sugar slowly in a roasted suji 4. cook it on a low flame for 2-3 minutes 5. Sooji will absorb the water, 6. Garnish it with almonds.
