The heart is the pumping chamber of our body. This four chambered organ collects the purified blood which is carried from the lungs through the pulmonary veins. The purified blood which is stored in the heart is distributed to the other parts of the body. This small piece of organ performs a number of work and is a very vital part of our body. As soon as the heart stops its action we all know what consequences it leads to. When the heart ceases to work for sometimes, in the layman’s term, it is known as heart attack while in medical terminology it is phrased as Myocardium Infraction. It is a very acute form of heart diseases that the humans suffer from and is also designated as one of the greatest killer disease. The attack has various degrees. It can be a major life taking one while there may be a minor one too. Research in the medical field has brought about the causes of heart attack and preventive heart attack measures. Some of the reasons for cardiac arrest are – •#Smoking not only is a cause for lung cancer but at the same time for Myocardium Infraction. Smoking leads to stiffness in the arteries because of carbon deposition. The accumulation of carbon leads to CLD increasing which leads to heart attack. •#Hypertension makes the arteries dilate thus increasing the cholesterol and eventually leading to cardiac arrest. •#Sex oriented medicines- these medicines are which normally men take in for sexual arousal. The sudden increase of the supply of blood to the various parts of the muscles result in the unnatural breakdown of the arteries and the veins which are already clogged thus leading to the damage of the brain. •#Anger and aggression also are a vital cause of heart attacks. •#Fried and junk food passively contribute to cardiac arrests. The fried food makes your heart weak thus leading to Myocardium Infraction. Everyone must be very careful with the body and should pay a visit to the doctor whenever one feels uncomfortable with the body. There are some heart attack warning signs which if known helps you from facing a disaster. Some of the symptoms of heart attack are a pressure or heaviness in the chest. If you feel your chest is feeling quite heavy and the heaviness lasts for sometimes and is not getting away you must immediately call for emergency. Another widely spread sign of cardiac arrest is pain beginning from the back and spreading to neck, shoulder and arms. This pain is also accompanied with shortness of breath, dizzy and nausea. Heartburn may also signal you towards a heart attack. If you feel any of these do not delay to call for help. To prevent heart attacks before it occurs doctor recommends a vegetarian diet. The diet should be followed along with exercises and yoga or meditation. On a smaller scale one can protect oneself against heart attack by stopping to smoke and restrain taking of sex arousal medicines. Stroke is another disease which attacks without any signs or signals and is life taking. Therefore is it important to know about the preventing of stroke. Stroke in medical terminology is known as celebral vascular accident. Taking of aspirin is a solution when you feel you are getting a stroke. However this cannot be followed by everyone for many people are allergic to aspirin and it may lead to harmful side effects.
