Search engine optimization or SEO is the method to propel your site to the top of the results in Google, Yahoo or Bing. Statistics have shown that if you fail to land on the top 3 in the search engine results page, 80% of consumers may ignore your site. Meanwhile, the PPC or pay per click is an advertising tool where you pay every time somebody clicks on your ad. The preferred programs used for PPC include Google AdWords, Microsoft ad Canter and throw in Yahoo Search Marketing in there. What’s the difference between the two?

While both SEO and PPC can drive traffic to your website, the method of doing so differs. Search engine optimization focuses on delivering good content that are driven by keyword-rich articles, blog posts, video blogs and the like. This means that consumers generally trust the organic listings for the relevant information more than the ads. But in order to be sure, you can just hire a company that offers both SEO Services and PPC—that way you get the best of both worlds.
