Let's face it. I find dating frustrating. I find men frustrating. The reason is that I never understood them in the first place. I really don't understand them now, and it seems that all the dating rules have changed. Or maybe I have changed, and I simply don't have the patience for this, and I'm too lazy or unwilling to learn the rules. I'm sure many of you ladies feel the same way. We, as women, don't have to understand how men think to understand their thinking process and use this to our advantage. Just by making this small shift, we can admit that it's ok not to understand how they think, and then learn to understand the differences. We can also learn from our mistakes with our previous relationships. One of the biggest problems a woman can have is lack of confidence and self esteem. Men love confidence in a woman. More importantly, they don't want a woman who is a clinging vine or constantly has to be validated in order to be accepted. Develop your own happiness and interests. This makes you more attractive and interesting, and men will take notice. Understand that men think about dating differently than women do too. When you understand these differences, then you can develop the communication skills necessary to communicating with a man in a way that will help create lasting love, as well as affection for you. Men really aren't as complicated as they seem. They just want us to think they are. By shifting our thinking, and learning to respond to them in ways that they understand, it can go a long way towards getting the dates you want, as well as landing the guy you want. There are plenty of signs to tell you if he's a great guy too. You just need to be open to them. You can also learn what annoys a man more than anything else and avoid engaging in those behaviors. This not only has the added effect of making you more attractive, but it can build your self esteem and confidence too by not engaging in behaviors that will sabotage your dating efforts and relationship success. The real secret here is to step back, take a look at your situation, take a look at the men in your life, and then learn what you need to know about having successful relationships with them.
