Internal medicine procedures involve curative measures for failure of internal organs like lungs, heart, kidneys and others. The career in internal medicine differs from other disciplines. Following completion of entry-level training, newly graduated medical practitioners are often required to undertake a period of supervised practice, before the license is finally issued in one or two years of internship.
