2. Air freight Air freight is another option for holiday shipping. Air freight involves using air transportation to send items either within the United States or to other countries. Air freight is typically the very fastest way to get your item sent to its destination (especially if you choose a shipping company with a presence in many airports… some good shipping companies, for example, send to more than 150 different airports). Air freight shipping can be a little more expensive than other kinds of holiday shipping methods, though, so you need to take the cost into account when deciding if air freight is right for you. Not only that but shipping very large or heavy items via air freight may not be practical, so if you are sending more than just a few gifts or cards for the holidays, you may be better off exploring another shipping option.
3. Ground transport Finally, a last good option for holiday shipping is to send items via ground transport. For goods within the U.S., this is an affordable alternative to air transport. You can even send large amounts of goods or bigger commercial shipments via ground transport by taking advantage of full truckload and less-than-full truckload shipping choices.
