It features a 5 inch 480x854 pixel capacitive touch screen display. A 1 GHz Scorpion processor takes care of running apps effortlessly on the ICS platform. It has a 5 MP camera with LED flash, 4x digital zoom and a 0.3 MP front camera for video calls. In addition it has FM radio with recording facility to keep you entertained on the go, a 3.5mm audio jack, volume controls, microUSB port and a 2000 mAH battery claimed to have 180 hours standby time. The A100 has 512 MB RAM, 2GB internal storage, expandable to 32 GB through the microSD card slot. All these goodies are packed in a sleek package measuring 72.6mm x 142.2mm x 11.9 mm thick smoothly contoured plastic body mobile weighing in at 168 grams. It has a G sensor that rotates the display to landscape or portrait modes. Use and Performance You could spend a lot on big brand names or go for the A100 that gives performance just about equal to the higher priced models. Users will like the large display that works well even in high ambience light. It has the standard stock ICS interface and resembles higher end phones. If you run individual apps, the phone is fast but if there is a background process, it slows down a little but otherwise, it does everything very responsively and with minimum time lags. The large screen makes gaming and viewing videos fun. If your primary use is as a phone, you will not be disappointed with good sound clarity and signal strength. The headphones, though, are not quite up to scratch. Though the speaker volume is high, it is anything but quality.
