Horizontal autoclaves are bigger in size than there counterpart vertical autoclaves. These also work on the same principal of sterilization by using heat and pressure. However these are designed for bigger workloads .The sterilizer is based on the principle that microbiological action of saturated steam atelevated temp is rapid & thorough. All models work on downward displacement of air principle which is most economical method of obtaining for all types of bulk sterilization. Suitable for sterilizing hospital dressings, linen, rubber plastic goods, surgical instruments, glassware and utensils etc. The unit has outer chamber, inner Chamber, Boiler, Lid and Jacket - all made of 304 grade stainless Steel. For controlling sterilization cycle, a three way valve or a multiport valve - made of S.S. is provided. It is supplied complete with vacuum breaker, water level indicator, steam trap and automatic pressure control switch. The whole unit is mounted on a robust tubular stand. It is available in the following standard sizes. Operatable on 3 Phases, 440 Volts A.C. Supply The autoclave is tested for up to 30 Psi of hydraulic pressure to ensure safety. The Horizontal Autoclave is provided with Pressure gauge, Steam release cock, spring-loaded safety valve. We also provide Pressure control switch, Digital temperature indicator controller, Outer cover stainless steel water level indicator as optional accessories .The pressure control device is incorporated in all electrically operated sterilizers. It economizes the power consumption and reduces the frequent opening of the steam release valve and prevents the release of steam in the room, it cuts off the power supply to heaters when the set pressure is achieved an re-energises the heating when the set pressure is achieved and re-energises the heating elements when pressure falls below the set point.
