The HTC One V follows in the footsteps of the HTC Legend and is an owner’s delight. Distinctively shaped with its angled bottom, it is one you carry with pride and use with pleasure. HTC One V Features The HTC One V is an Android 4.0 based device with a 3.7 inch super gorilla glass protected LCD 2 480x800 resolution touchscreen overlaid with the HTC Sense interface with physical touch sensitive buttons sitting at the bottom. Its sleek gray coloured metal body hides a 1 GHz processor and a 5 MP camera. This smartphone has HD recording, is Wi-Fi enabled and has 512 MB RAM and expandable storage capacity up to 32 GB, more than adequate for most purposes. The phone has an accelerometer and a proximity sensor. An ambient light sensor ensures the display brightness is just right. Powered by a 1500 mAH Li-Ion battery, you can use 3G, GPRS, EDGE or Wi-Fi to connect to the internet and stay online all day. With A-GPS and Google Maps, finding locations is a breeze. Use its voice input features and running apps is a snap. At 9.2mm, it is slim. The left hand side has the microUSB port and the right had side has the volume rocker. The power button and headphone jack sit at the top with a notification light strip alongside. Use While 512 MB of RAM may be seen as a bit on the lower side, in a device at this price point it is an acceptable compromise and does not interfere too much with operations. The outstanding feature is the phone’s super LCD display. The colours are richly vibrant and the screen is readable, even in bright light with good viewing angles. Despite the Sense UI, the phone uses Android 4 apps switching menu. Users will also notice the lack of movie editor and watch apps. Other than that it is delightful to use. Though it has only a single core 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, it does not affect use. Facebook and Twitter apps coast along but the difference can be seen when you try to run graphics intensive games. The 5 MP camera with a surprisingly large f/2.0 aperture lens and LED flash is another outstanding feature. Images are crisp and vivid and you can record 720p video in addition to a host of other features. View your efforts on the super LCD screen and it is another reason to buy the phone. Audio is just fine if you play it through your headphones, with the Beatsaudio enhancement. A negative is the non-removable battery. But then one can’t have everything.
