Classified advertising involves the use of short text-based information that is concisely conveyed to the audience. Usually, these free classified ads contain only the important details of the products or services that are on sale. In most cases, the contact details of the company or person posting the ads are included. However, due to the limited ad space, the use of graphics is limited but still, the company logo may appear. The use of free classified ad is one of the cheapest and easiest marketing tools. This partly explains why many businesses including real estate and car dealers are using this marketing strategy. In addition, there are no cost promotions involved and it is typically hassle-free. It is, for these reasons, largely used in doing online advertising. Many Indians are currently using free classified ads to advertise their products and services. Free advertising has an advantage over the conventional classifieds such as newspapers and magazines, in that it is free- just like the name suggests. This means that any person or company gets a wonderful opportunity to advertise its products or services to a large Internet audience without paying for the ad space. And with many people going online, be rest assured that your ads will get a lot of visibility. In some cases, however, your free classified ads in India may not get a high conversion rate and your efforts may not bear fruits. It is, therefore, necessary to ensure your ads get the desired results by following these simple guidelines; • Write a catchy title by using interest-grabbing keywords. • Keep the body of your ad short but clear and descriptive. Additionally, you can include some valuable benefits of your products or services. Very little information, however, may lead into confusion. • Include your contact details such as email address and telephone number. • Proofread your ad before posting. Remember, a simple typo can render it useless. • Post your ad in the right category. • Track the progress of your ad. In the event that you don’t receive any feedback for more than a week, consider posting another ad. But be careful with your word choice. In general, your free classified ads must grab the attention of your target audience, maintain their interest, cause your audience to like the offer and lastly, ask them to take action. As earlier indicated, the concept of online free advertising especially on classified sites, is gaining ground at a higher rate. As a result, many people in an attempt to reach out to the wide web community are posting many free classified ads in India. This means that your posted ads will get buried deep in the listing pages sooner than you think. To avoid such a scenario, renew your ads occasionally.
