The examination is conducted twice a year one in the month of February ad later in the month of August of each year. You can enroll in the MBA program in the July session or in the January session depending on the time you appear for the OPENMAT exam. The examination forms are available for all at the regional and study centers or can be downloaded from the IGNOU website. The examination form along with sample test paper costs Rs.550/-. You can pay it via demand draft favoring IGNOU New Delhi. After successfully completing the process of the examination form. You would be informed about the date and would receive your hall ticket ten days prior to the date of examination. OPENMAT results would be informed of all the candidates within six to seven weeks from the date of examination. The result card is sent to the candidate by IGNOU informing his results. If the candidate has successfully cleared the OPENMAT exam, he needs to fill in the FORM 2 available in the prospectus and seek admission in the July or January intakes.
