How many times have we got irritated when we get a call every two hours from home especially, when we have gone out for an outing with our friends? We keep telling our parents not to worry much and stop calling repeatedly because we are busy enjoying. We instantly tell them not to bug us but our parents never stop worrying and calling till we reach back home. We make fun of them and tease them for being so sensitive but we never really try to understand how worried they would be. With the crime rate increasing day by day, living a safe life has become difficult. We never know when we would become a victim of the many ongoing rapes, kidnaps and thefts. We must thus understand and respect our parents emotions and analyze why they call us. We can today say that because of technology we are able to use devices like cell phone and contact each other to know about each other’s safety and location. Mobile handsets are very valuable and useful. If we go to see, they help people living far away from each other communicate easily, deliver messages quickly and now they are used as a safety alert device. As we know, cell phones are these days used by every person. In case of emergency people can contact others with the help of cell phone. Parents these days tend to worry more about their kids because the surrounding is no more safe as it was before. We see many teenage kids using cell phones. It is because their parents insist them to keep one so that they can contact them and get to know where their child is. Teenage kids can be provided phones with pre paid plans as parents can accordingly keep track on how much theirs kids are utilizing. Emergencies occur without any hint and thus we have to accept that it can happen any time any place. To overcome risks you can use mobile phones. If you feel you are being followed by someone you could instantly and silently text your friends for help. There are many emergency helpline numbers which when dialed through mobile phone bring help immediately. Installing a security application on your phone too many a times prove to be of great help. It is even more easy to help a person who is at risk if he has a GPS enabled application on his cell phone. Mobile phones are those devices that people never forget to carry when they are stepping out of their homes. In that case making use of it when you are in need of help is the best way to stay safe and secure.
