Therefore, give them at least a six month notice to get your dress ready in time. Choosing the wedding dresses before deciding on the theme is another mistake most brides make. The type of regular or maternity wedding dresses that you buy depends on the theme of your wedding. While the mini gowns are ideal for beach weddings, gowns with long flowing trails are ideal for a ballroom affair. Choosing the one with the trail for beach theme, and mini one for ballroom themed wedding will be a disaster. Deciding on the theme in advance will also help you choose the right accessories to go along with the dress. Many women today prefer shopping for the wedding accessories and getting a dress designed accordingly instead of first buying the dress and then running around for the accessories.
