I like to think that I am a pretty open-minded person, especially when it comes to enjoying the nightlife in whatever city I may happen to be in at the time. I have gone to some clubs where I probably didn’t fit in too well or some dive bars where there’s always a chance that something bad will happen and I have always been able to come out of it okay. However, there is always that one place, that one night spot, where you are going to be afraid to go to and worry about what will happen to you while you are there. I have just the place in mind when I think of something like this. Now, I am not going to mention any names. I don’t want to offend anyone who likes to go to this place in particular or have anyone make fun of me or call me a wimp because they know the place and see nothing wrong with it. I have enough people in my life giving me a hard time, thank you very much. I don’t need it from you too. I will however, give you a brief description of what I have heard it was like and then you can figure out which place I am talking about. First off, this place is dark. When I say dark, I mean almost pitch black inside. They use black lighting in the whole place, making it nearly impossible to see anyone or anything. What makes it even scarier is that everyone in the place wears black too. Guys and girls alike are all decked out in black from head to toe. I am sure it has something to do with the style of the club, but I just don’t seem to get it myself. A lot of the people who are in there, from what I have heard, wear masks. Why? Well I am not really sure what the answer is to that one, but I can tell you that I am not keen on going into a place where everyone is in black and wearing a mask. You can say I have some trust issues if you want, but I just think it’s downright creepy. The music they play there is kind of scary too. It’s some kind of a cross between machine noises and death metal. I know some people are into industrial music, but I think that if you want to hear people screaming over jackhammers you can come to the corner by my apartment any day you want; it seems like there is always that going on there, I don’t need to go out and here and frankly it scares me that people do. There are plenty of other choices I can make for nightlife in the city instead of going to place where have to be afraid of what might happen to me while I am there. Besides, I heard they don’t even serve any beer there. To me, that is the most frightening aspect of the whole place. Would you like to learn more about some less scary nightlife going on?
