Business entry via ETA is for passport holders from some specific countries and regions. EVisitor is for the passport holders of European Union and some other European countries. Short stay subclass 456 is for those who are not eligible for first two mentioned business visa categories. If you have been sponsored then you may apply for Business Visitor (Short Stay) (subclass 459) visa. If you have to participate in the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) region then APEC Business Travel Card is your option. Those who own a new or existing business in Australia Business Owner (Residence) (Subclass 890) is a category. This allows them to live in Australia on permanent basis. Some skilled business owners are sponsored by a state or territory of Australia, to assist in the economic development of Australia by ownership of an existing or new business. Many businesspersons want to invest in Australian economy. For such people Australian immigration and citizenship department has investors visa. Similar to Australian business visa, investor's visa can also be categorised into two categories i.e. provisional and permanent.
