Weiber offers Rust test chambers which are used for making comparative and absolute study of corrosion resistance over different material, surface paintings such as painting, plating etc.These chambers create three environments salt spray, high humidity and air drying - at any temperature within the chamber’s operating range. Each environment can be manually selected so the chamber can be used as a steady state humidity chamber, salt spray chamber, or air drying chamber. Alternatively, any combination of these environments can be programmed, in any order, to form a corrosion cycle. Such a corrosion cycle can be automatically repeated a predetermined number of times. The salt spray chambers are built using an advanced mono-block construction technology and are separated into dedicated compartments with a maintenance friendly design; they have a desk top style control panel next to the workspace for user friendly ease of use. The entire housing is manufactured from non-corrosive materials such as plastic to ensure durable long life time use and is also ergonomically designed with smooth and contoured surfaces to ensure a compact footprint. The salt spray chambers are fitted with an acrylic top for visual viewing of the test compartment and are fitted with a pneumatic piston for automatic opening of the door and also include the required rods for meeting the ASTM test specification requirements.
