One of the best assets that a person can have is a good set of teeth. They say that a smile, lights up a person’s face. Still with the degree that a dentist has earned one should still further his studies for more additional knowledge. Since, dentistry has many branches to explore and accumulate additional training to better equip himself in handling a variety of cases and other surprises that may come up during treatment. Furthermore, dentists should participate in continued education, attending lectures and seminars to learn of recent developments of their field of study, practice new methods and at the same time earn additional continued education hours since it is a specific requirement for dentists. Now a day, Orthodontics is one of the most in demand branch of dentistry. Orthodontics is a specialty of dentistry which is concerned with the study and treatment of improper bites, which may result to tooth irregularity which a can cause dislocation or disproportion of the jaw alignment. However, Orthodontics can only focus on dental displacement. As with other medical profession, a dentist should be trained and knowledgeable enough before he could be called a Doctor of Dental Medicine.
