What are the remarkable places to see and visit in Bandhavgarh?

Bandhavgarh National Park is truly an incredible park to visit. Though this is not too large but its incredibility gives tourists an amazing touring experience that they can’t forget for lifetime. While there are so many places to stay in Bandhavgarh, here is the list of some astonishing places to see in and around this national park:

1. Baghel Museum: All the personal stuffs of Rewa’s Maharaja kept in this museum intact in the same position. You can visit and explore the royal wildlife in this museum. Apart from these, one important thing which makes this museum special is the stuffed body of first spotted White Tiger by the Maharaja. You can also explore some ancient hunting and military equipments of that era. The museum is located about 100 meters away from the park.

2. Fossil National Park: Located about 110 km from Bandhavgarh, the Fossil national park is famous for having fossils of 40 to 150 million old plants. This national park is spread at the area of around 274110 square meters. At the buffer area, the fossil plants can be explored in three villages. The team of archeologists is still searching for the base of these fossil plants that are originated from mid-Cretaceous era. This was become the land of Gondwana after the collapse of a single land named “Pangaea”.

3. Tala Village: Most tourists prefer to visit this village in Bandhavgarh because this reflects the typical Indian lifestyle of villages and the villagers are still living with the ethnical way. A tourist can witness various charming glimpses during a day of village tour. In the village, you can get the glimpse of ancient era with mud-clustered houses, modest lifestyle, and some enjoyable scenes of older people smoking hookahs on the cot. There are different resorts and hotels on the way to Tala Village.

4. Mahaman Pond: This pond is also known as the “Place of Quench the Thirst” because you can witness various herbivorous and carnivorous along with lots of wild creatures and bamboo clumps. This is located near Bandhavgarh Fort.

5. Climber’s Point: One can explore the beauty of nature symbolized by this amazing spot of national park. You can explore the panoramic view of the entire sanctuary and the forest which is the store of bamboo and Sal trees. This place is also flourished with amazing species of plants. This is the tranquil place where one can get complete relaxation and peace of mind.

6. The Giant Cave: The Bandhavgarh is full of caves and lakes which gives you the panoramic view of the spot. Along with other places, the Giant Cave (so-called Bari Gufa) is the ancient monument. No doubt, this is one of the oldest Indian creations in the history. This is the biggest cave made by humans in the 10th Century.
