Diecast models are very popular now days. They are popular because they are scale-made. Especially the military vehicles are common because they are shrouded in secrecy. Civilians have no reach for the military vehicles or equipments. This out of reach factor makes diecast military tanks and other military toys so popular. They are popular among all categories, young and the old. In case a diecast fighter plane or aircraft carrier is from the past, it is still more charming. The excitement is too much because they have old technologies. Everybody has idea about the present technology but idea of the older technology attracts many because it is curious to know how the present technology has evolved from the previous one. The diecast toys come in various types such as civilian cars, trucks, tractors, farm equipments and trains. They are popular as well and are collected by many. The diecast technology is fine and exact models or replicas of cars, trucks and trains are created. Unlike the traditional toys, they diecast ones are to scale. It means they are made in finest detail and in exact proportions. They also contain some functionality such as automatic opening and closing of doors sounds etc. These functionalities have made the toys even more popular, this time among children. For older persons, they are interesting because they remind them of their young days. This was the main technique until late 80s and had produced some fantastic models or diecast toys. Although, they are not very popular now days, they are made for collectors and antique lovers. Under diecast technology, mould is used which is filled by liquid metal. The molten or liquid metal is poured in the mould using high air pressure. The model-based production helps in creating large-scale production of the diecast toys. They are cheaper because of mass production and easily affordable by antique collectors. For parts such as propellers and wheels, plastic is used which are lightweight and strong as well as give them realistic looks. The wings, mirrors, wheels etc. work as in the real ones. For the remaining part of the main body an alloy of aluminum, copper and zinc are used. These toys became popular after the First World War. People could easily relate them with real weapons and armors so they became popular. Then there was the Second World War, which further triggered public interest. All this continued until the end of 80s after which the industry did not produce them commonly. In spite of all this, they are popular among old timers with real passion for the diecast models.
