Darjeeling is a hill station situated in the state of West Bengal in India. It is a very popular tourist spot. It lies in the Mahabharata range of the Himalayan Mountains. The basic economy of Darjeeling is based on tourism and tea plantations. There are several important landmarks in this hill station that serve as popular tourist destinations.
