Chelsea is quite desperate to keep their prized asset of a winger- Juan Mata in the club. They are sparing no expense, literally, to ensure that he is an integral part at Stamford Bridge in the coming years. If rumors are to be believed, Chelsea is planning to offer a five year contract to the 24 year old midfielder. When he initially joined the Blues, a year and a half back, his net worth was Euro 23.5million which was justified owing to the goals he scored for the club since then. In his very first season with the club, he impressed his comrades and captured the hearts of the fans by helping the team win the Champions League winners’ medals and the Football Association Cup.
