Concave wheels have become the latest rage in car wheels and been in immense demand for a long period of time. In fact these wheels have indeed called a phenomenon itself which have changed the very face of wheeling. The demand for concave wheels has been so huge that it has even led to the replacement of classic look of the typical lips on wheels. What is a Concave Wheel? A Concave wheel is manufactured in such a way that the center of the wheel is designed to dip inwards. This gives the wheel a bowl effect. The manufacturer has to get this effect keeping in mind three types of parts of the concave wheels. These include the inner barrel, the outer barrel, and the face of the wheel. The process also includes designing a smaller lip for the front of the wheel. The emphasis is usually on the concavity of the rear wheel. The uniqueness of the stance wheels lies in the fact that there is specialty designing conducted while preparing the wheel face. The center of the wheel is subjected to forging process wherein a lightweight effect is achieved. It is then cut using CNC machinery. Once the design is cut, the concave wheel is assembled. As stated earlier the emphasis is on concavity which helps in creating a design that is three dimensional in nature. This gives a more muscular and dynamic look to the otherwise flat face of the wheel. Benefits of Concave Wheels High in strength, concave wheels also offer heavier impact, due to the various additional parts being used in the unique construction of the wheel. They are customizable, and can be produced in a variety of widths and offsets. This means they are flexible enough to fit well. Besides this, in case of damage, they can be repaired in an inexpensive way, by replacing just the damaged part.
