The type of restaurant supplies you would purchase for your establishment would mostly depend upon what you restaurant deals in. you could be selling fine dining, casual dining, mid-scale or fast food. In addition, the amount of supplies would also vary on the basis of the size of your establishment. You would also require libbey glassware for the dining area, serving and the back. Today, the POS system has become one of the most essential restaurant supplies. The system would help you in keeping a regular track over your inventory and sales. It would help you learn about the precise amount of products used up at the end of the day. This would help you in calculating the cost of the products sold. These systems would connect your registered transactions with the main computer. You can also get reports from the POS and review it for reducing food costs. The choice of the small equipment can be determined on the basis of the type of restaurant you have. For example, almost all restaurants would require libbey glassware, different cookware, pots and pans. On the other hand, if you have a fine dining enterprise, you would also require mixers, cutlery, dicing equipment and marinating pans for steaks and meats. You would also need stainless steel tables with cutting boards for preparing meals. Other equipment needed can be meat grinders, dough rollers, dish wash machines, colander, blenders and bread slicers. When it comes to cooking, the most commonly used restaurant supplies include ovens, stoves and open ranges. The type and size of the stove required would be based upon your sales and requirements. Then, fryers would be needed for the preparation of food like onion rings and French fries. Heating stations would have to be placed in the front part of the restaurant for keeping the food warm. If the serving includes meats, tortillas and hot sauces, you would also require steam table and steam cabinets. Cold storage is another type of restaurant supplies that you cannot do without. Freezers and refrigerators are required for keeping ice cream, meat, eggs and milk. If you have a larger restaurant, it would be needed to have a larger refrigerated unit to store service line foods like lettuce, green onions and cheese. They would have to be stored in metal bins depending upon the speed at which the food needs to be cooled. There are self-service equipment that can help increase the speed of the order process. If you have a fast food restaurant, it would be ideal to install self-service drink dispensers. You wouldn’t have to assign manpower for certain tasks such as dispensing drinks. Then, there are self-service ice-cream machines, salad tables, libbey glassware and sneeze guards that make important items for restaurants. When it comes to choosing the right type of restaurant supplies, there is no need to go around checking from one supplier to another.
