Chennai sometimes called “Madras” is located in the state Tamil Nadu in India. It is the capital of the state. It is located in south eastern part of India on the Coromandel Coast. All rooms are well appointed and the rooms closer to the beach boast off a great view. The food here is of a wide variety and good quality. Also, there are spa facilities inside the resort. Room tariff starts from INR 7746 per day. “The Raintree Hotel, St. Mary’s” is another grand resort on St. Mary’s Road in Chennai. It has won the Travellers’ Choice Award in 2012 for being the trendiest hotel. The rooms are clean and elegant and the service is up to the mark. The variety of food offered is limited but the quality is good. Charges per room start from INR 6317 per day. The “Hilton Chennai” is another great resort with an awesome view. Ideally located nearby the Kathipara Junction railway station, this hotel is easy to find and worth the value of money. The “Tandoori prawn” dish and the “asparagus risotto” is a must try in this hotel. It has all other amenities including good rooms and nice bathrooms. Room tariff starts here from INR 9504 per day.
