When science first evolved, little did we know that current day problems would never see the end of the day? And Science has further given birth to medicine. Medicine, the field in its entirety, consists of numerous fields, each field having its relevance in overhauling daily life in many a way. As humans who rely on procedures of various medicine systems, it is important to understand the benefits and the limitations of each of these systems. Among highly evolved systems are those such as Allopathy, Ayurveda and Homeopathy. Each system has its own set of limitations and importantly, advantages. Let us explore the benefits of homeopathic treatment and the advancement of highly reliable homeopathic techniques in treating dreaded diseases of today. In order to understand the effectiveness of homeopathy in tackling present day health complications, let us first understand the origin of this system of medicine. Homeopathy was first used during the late 1700s. It was implemented by renowned scientist and Doctor Samuel Hahnemann. When Hahnemann first proposed the process of homeopathy and called it highly effective in combating health complications, there loomed serious doubts about the extent of the homeopathic practice and the success rate it would deliver in treating diseases. But today, things have taken quite unexpected turns with homeopathy becoming one of the foremost systems of medicine. Though many developed nations of the west question its integrity and success in tackling diseases, homeopathy has proved its potency without a doubt. It still remains a fact that many countries in the west disregard this technique as farfetched and implausible. Homeopathy has a very different approach to treating diseases and disorders. Unlike the established practice, homeopathy involves administering the diseased person with the same substance that first led to the symptoms and caused the disease, but in a highly diluted state. This, it is believed, will quell the effects the substance has on the body. Samuel believed that the primary causes for a disease were substances he referred to as miasms. A chosen substance is deeply diluted in distilled water or alcohol and administered to the body. Upon successive and continuous dilution of the chosen substance that is known to treat the disease, the potency of the substance is said to increase drastically, thereby curing a disease condition in the human body. Homeopathy has been subject to extensive clinical trials and many scientists have attested the effectiveness of this system of medicine. The process of homeopathy involves through assessment of the symptoms that are present in the body. When you visit a homeopathic doctor to take treatment for a particular health complication, he first assesses the symptoms thoroughly. He also finds out if a suspected disease has been persistent in afflicting previous generations of family members. Then, upon strategising and calibrating, doctors decide on a medication. Homeopathy does not have side effects as claimed by many detractors. The benefits of homeopathic treatment are worth reckoning and the present day has seen an increased number of people trusting this system of medicine.
