Goals An individual who is looking for a "motivated life" should try to set goals. The goals should be as practical and realistic as they could be. There are some people out there who may not like the idea of setting big goals, but it does make sense to say 'I hope to have that college degree within two years. A number of people may also go to seminars in order to learn how to live a more motivated life. There are a lot of people out there who do enjoy different challenges in life, this is why it makes sense to make a list of the different challenges that you will face in the future. List A person who wants to live a motivated life could make a list of the different things that they would like to accomplish in a day. The truth of the matter is that the list can be fairly small, it may just include things like going to the grocery store. A number of other people may write work related goals on their list. A boss may be proud of the initiative that you take by writing down different work related tasks. One of your future goals in life may be to work your way up the company and get things done. A promotion could be your overall motive, but that promotion from within the company is what could end up giving you a purpose in life. A boss should be able to respect the fact that you want to move up in the company, people do want to increase their salary and the amount of prestige that can come with a new title. Inspiration There are stories in traditional forms of media and all over the internet that can be your inspiration for wanting to change your life for the better. A number of people beat back cancer and deal with a lot deeper challenges than the challenges that you may currently face. A large number of people who want to lead a motivated life have to be able to put their challenges into perspective. A lot of these challenges are something that can make you feel better about the struggles that you face. A lot of people out there need to be able to make sure that they can put something like a medical challenge into the proper perspective. Parents A parent can play a role in making sure their child leads a motivated life. A motivational tool that can be used would be proof that a sibling was able to succeed in life. The motivation can be that life is a bit of a competition and that people often do compare themselves and their accomplishments to different family members. A lot of people out there do not want to be portrayed as lazy and unwilling to meet some of the goals that a family member was able to meet.
