Five years ago, I returned to the world of photography after 20-year hiatus. Then I was "struggling professional photographer. I prefer digital over film. Digital allows me to shoot and practice more than I could film. Also, I can manipulate the photo to get the best image possible. Technology helps me find information to help me make business decisions. The technology, which now helps me to target your potential customers and market to them. Its not a hit and miss marketing exercise. I found a photography book that helped me to focus on profitable niche in photography. Before finding the books I had to photograph a niche has absolutely no concept or importance of a successful photographer. There are a lot of very good books on successful photography business. For me, one of the best (in 20 years) was Edward R. Lilley Studio photography business. His book kept me repeat their costly mistakes of the past. Twenty years ago, I had never heard of the photography. Now, Photography, where I planned to put my time when I'm shooting business (compared to my love for photography shooting). There are many books on photography. "Sale and re-sell your photos and Sellphotos.com" and Rohn ENGH, were two of the best investments I ever made. I have a clearer understanding of the photography business, and where you fit. Photography undergoes many changes. Some long time stock photographers just do not like what's going on.
