Article marketing is a two-part process. First, you need to write the articles. Second part is to submit these articles to directories. In this article, I wish to share some important tips that you may want to keep in mind when doing the second part. These tips will help you increase the chances of your articles getting the kind of exposure they need. Read on! First and perhaps the most important thing that you need to do is to ensure that your titles are attention-grabbing. Keep in mind that your articles will show up with other related articles once online users search for the kind of information that you're offering. Your goal here is to get these people to choose your articles over your competitors'. You can get them to open your copies if your titles are thought-provoking or if they sound extremely smart. You have the option of asking the questions that bother your readers. Example; "Ice cube diet; does it really work?" Or "What are the side effects of south beach diet?" You also have the option of communicating the gist of your content or the benefits that your audience can get in reading your articles. Keep your titles short, to the point, and ensure that they're very powerful. Article summary. Aside from your titles, you can also use your article summary to entice more people to read your articles. In here, you're allowed to summarize your content using 2-5 sentences. The key here is not giving your readers everything that they need to know. Just offer enough information to pique their curiosity then, urge them to read your articles until the end. Choose the right categories. Online users will most likely to find your articles sooner if you place them under appropriate categories. Find sub-categories that may fit the subject of your articles. For example, if you're writing about dogs, you can submit them to the Pets: Cats and dogs category instead of just Pets category. Use keywords on your titles. This is something that is not negotiable. Remember, online users will look for the information that they need using keywords. It's very important that you insert these keywords on your titles so search engines will make your articles visible on the search page results. Submit to all reputable article directories. Take time and make a list of all popular article directories in the online arena today. Prioritize those that are usually visited by online users and those that have top rankings on major search engines. These are the best places where you should publish your articles to as they can give your copies the kind of exposure that they deserve. Review and make necessary adjustments. Check your articles once they get published. Search the keywords you're targeting on Google to see if your articles will show up on the top 10 search page results. If they don't, I suggest that you optimize them again while keeping the latest algorithms of search engines in mind and resubmit them.
