Water heater is a common home appliance which looks like a large metal cylinder. It is usually kept in the basement or sometimes in the laundry room. The modern ones come without a tank. However, most commonly it is a water-filled drum with a heating system fitted either inside or at the bottom. Both electrical and gas versions are available in the market. It is also found in various sizes to fulfill the requirements of the customers. There are often questions that arise about water heaters and how they work.
