Air Asia is a low cost airlines company which mainly provides services for countries of Asia from different part of the world. It is the largest low cost airline in Asia. It operates both domestic and international flights. About 400 destinations are covered by it for 25 different countries. Its primary hum is situated at Kuala Lumpur. It has also other secondary hubs at different destinations. This airline was founded in year 1993 but started to operate from 18th November 1996. In year 2002 it made huge profit when other airlines were affected due to global meltdown. In 2003 its another hub was formed near Singapore. In a short period of time it has made more profit and progress. Air Asia has also many other subsidiaries which are Air Asia X, Thai Air Asia and Indonesia Air Asia. Air Asia X is also a low cost airline which base is situated in Malaysia. It started its operation in 2007. It provides services for Delhi, Mumbai, Paris, London, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne and Tokyo. Its baggage policy is same as of Air Asia. It operates its services with 11 aircrafts. Other subsidiary of Air Asia also works on this rule. If you are planning a travel for your holiday vacation to any Asian country then this airline is best for you because it provides budget travel in low price. It not only provides budget travel but in travel packages it also provides facilities of hotel accommodation, free meal service and taxi fare etc. Free drinks are also offered to passengers. Couriers and cargo services and online shopping are other facilities which are provided by it. The cabins and chairs services inside the aircraft are excellent. There is enough space to put your legs. The seats have a chair pitch of 73.6 cm. Free entertainment services and mineral water is also offered to passenger during travel time. Travel with Air Asia is best for everyone. Some rules are also associated with this airline. If you are going to make a travel with this airline then try to know about baggage policy. 15 kg weight is allowed per passengers. If you carry more weight than it then you have to pay extra charges for it. Wheelchairs, baby buggies and walking frames can be carried free of cost. No extra fare is charged for infant’s baggage. But if you purchase an extra seat then this airline does not give permission to carry extra baggage. But we can say that this airline provide cheap air services in comparison to other for domestic as well as international travel. Various famous international destinations are also covered by it.
