Are You Still Waiting For the Desperate Housewives Most of you must have seen the attention-grabbing and exciting TV series--- the Desperate Housewives. If you have not seen it, at least you must have heard something about it.This famous TV series enjoys so excellent public reputation that it has already made into the eighth season. Woo~~~ Today, I want to share with you some major things about the protagonists---the four housewives I like most. Lynette Scavo---the super housewife. Lynette was an able woman before marriage who was in charge of 65 staffs.She was even capable than her husband. Being witty,smart,efficient,ambitious and acid-tongued, Lynette always put her job in the first place.However,all this totally changed after she got married with her husband—Tom. Unbelievably they gave birth to four children---three sons and one daughter. These four demons ruined Lynette’s life compeletely.She had to quit her job to balance her family. Beyond her expectation, being a housewife is no less than a nightmare. She is busier than work; never have a minute for relax. At the same time, Tom is getting on affair with other woman. Followed are a series of farce that push Lynette to the very verge of despair. Bree Van de Kamp---a housewife who always pursuing perfect. She tries every effort to make things perfect, whether on the housework, cooking, appearance, or her children and husband. Though she is almost a perfect lady, her children and husband do not show any appreciate and they even blame Bree for finding fault with everthing.The unloyalty of her husband hurt Bree deeply.therefore,Bree is not so happy Gabrielle Solis---the most beautiful lady in the series. Being a model when she was young, Gaby was sharp and adorable in shape. Getting married with Carlos—a successful and wealthy man—is another right choice that enable her to be a rich lady and live a comfortable life.However,Carlos only regards Gaby as a vase—pretty enough for decoration. He can meet any material demand of Gaby, but he pays no attention to her spiriture.Gaby feels empty and lonely. So she began to have an ambiguous relationship with a young boy. But a lot of troubles follow her. Susan Mayer---a single housewife who persistently trusts true love. Susan is such a kind-hearted lady that she trusts in all the good things. On work, she is smart, clever and perfect who is the representative of typical urban women. Being deserted by his husband, she still believes in love. At this moment, a handsome workman Mike become her neighbor, she cannot help fall in love with Mike. The above four women are the leading character in the series. Each story of them can give us a lesson. Lynette teaches us that we cannot always rely on others, even it is our husband. To be independent is our protective umbrella. If some of you are considering quit your job and become a housewife, the example of Lynette may give you a new consideration.Bree gives us the warning that pursuing perfect is not always the best, we may lose our lovely if we are too fiddy.Gaby is the idol of many young girl who wish to marry a rich man and enjoy good life. These young girls catch for material well-being life in the exchange of youth and beauty. Hope there can be more Susan in our real life. Though hurt by life and the people we love, we still have passion for what is good in life. Like jewelry, though going through a lot of hardness and withstand the test of time, it is still unique and strong, bright and shining.
