Ultrasound Technicians (ultrasonographers, commonly known) have the main job to help doctors inspect and diagnose critical conditions of patients by taking pictures of internal organs and tissues by using ultrasound technology. The candidates gain knowledge and skills regarding medical terms and imaging technology in order to operate high-end ultrasonography equipment and start medical diagnosis. 4-year Bachelor’s program This bachelor degree programs are great career option for ultrasound technician in order to advance and extra specialize in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. The candidates are required to be RDMS with 2-year allied healthcare program in Nuclear-medicine technology, radiation therapy and sonography.
