Executive search firms are those firms which attract, hire and gather those people who later take positions and designations in companies and organizations as employees. These firms search for potential candidates through their websites where job seekers usually drop their curriculum vitea and the firm then maintains a database for the potential employers it has. This firm is then hired by any corporation. Specifically, the executive search firm, headhunts for the potential employees based on their suitability for a particular position, and is qualified for the post and is able to present him/her verbally and in writing. This is the most important task the executive search firm needs while measuring the perfect aspect of the potential candidate for a particular position. Therefore it is very important that the search is done on merit and very effectively which hence saves time and short list the qualities in the potential candidate that he is suitable in qualifications, experience, knowledge and the ability to lead a workforce. Executive job firms usually contact the candidates via telephones, and contacts usually base on the recommendations given to the firm by another third firm or from someone within the agency. But the good firms work very hard in finding the deserving potential candidate and updating the candidate list. Firms also use various search mechanisms to headhunt candidates who may also be working with other organizations in the field and designation their client currently has. These firms show a level a respect to the candidate whom they contact as a potential candidate and they note the name of the person any future opportunity or if that person has a recommendation for someone else for the post. Many of the executive search firms use liable searches for the candidates. Liable searches are those searches which are fee based but only earned while presentation of the potential employee to the client. It is not always about choosing the perfect match but to provide a list of optimal candidates to the client to choose from it. Clients are not bound to search in a particular search executive firm, they always have the option of other firms. Executive job firms usually aid employers or clients who look for high level management job candidates that is perfect for their post to be offered. Searching can be on the basis of networking with the people who are already working in particular positions. There are currently many firms that corporations can choose from. Many of these executive job firms are credible and renowned enough to promise you a problem free recruitment process of the candidates for the companies. But companies still make very common mistakes when choosing these kinds of firms. If you want that a top search firm provides you the top candidates for your positions then avoid these basic mistakes, don’t just depend on the firms that they will do the best on their own, always communicate with them about the process. Moreover before hiring executive job firms for you. You must get a complete information rather you go after the firms which do extravagant advertisement of their firms irrespective of the fact that they are good firms. Go for those companies which change their recruitment processes with time.
