Travel & Tourism,Food & Beverages,Hobbies
New South Wales is the perfect place to go for holidays of all kinds. Whether you're planning a family vacation, a romantic trip or you're a daredevil looking for an adventurous experience, the premier state can accommodate. With a wide range of tourist attractions including beaches, parks, museums, restaurants and carnivals, NSW has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Australia. No matter who you are or where you're from,, you can easily find a holiday that suits your taste and budget in this amazing place. If you're looking for a destination that has a great environment, a vibrant nightlife and convenient transportation facilities then read on! In this article, you will learn about some of the more popular tourist attractions NSW has to offer.

For that perfect trip with friends and family, you might consider getting lessons at 2UP SUP Stand Up Paddle Boarding school in Newcastle. Not only is a great way to ensure you stay in shape while you're away, but it's also great fun for people of all ages. The instructors are considered Newcastle’s highest certified and qualified SUP instructors. While you're in town, you can enjoy the Newcastle Harbour Tour, or for you history buffs, drive down to Armidale and check out the 12th/16th Hunter River Lancers History Room in the historic Gaza Training Depot. This is a unique museum which preserves the heritage of the 12th/16th Hunter River Lancers and the military history of the Hunter and New England regions. Though they have many different items in their collection; many people visit to see the Light Horse and Royal Australian Armoured Corps.

The ABC Cheese Factory, which was established in 1891, is a great place for the cheese lovers. One of the first cheese factories in New South Wales, visiting makes for an entertaining and educational day for old and young alike. The renowned Tilba Club Cheese is still waxed at the ABC Cheese Factory and is sold exclusively through the shop. Try some quality cheese or check out the largest range of honey, jams and preserves. Or you can relax in the Gift Shop by picking out a souvenir and enjoying some coffee, ice cream or snacks!

If you are looking for some quality wines, you might also be interested in visiting any number of pubs and wineries for which NSW is highly popular. Some of the most popular pubs and wineries in New South Wales are the Jack Duggans Irish Pub in Bathurst, Mount Kembla Village Hotel near Wollongong and The Royal Hotel in Moree. Good times can also be had at our popular beachside pubs including Patonga Beach Hotel on the Central Coast, Sawtell Hotel near Port Macquarie and The Dockyard at Newcastle. If you can, we also suggest you make the visit to the Ackroyd Opals which has the finest collections of opals at Australia's best prices. The opals available here are cut and polished on site by experienced craftsmen and there is a wide range of products on offer including opal rings, pendants, earrings, jewellery, unset stones. A great place to grab a souvenir!
