Employee and staff awards are strategically put in place to increase the workers performance. When at staff awards you will notice that members of staff are called out to the stage and congratulated. Then they are given a reward plaque so that everybody can remember the event and the people that were rewarded. The reason for plaques is because they are more permanent and tangible. They are given to deserving staff members that have exceeded expectations and performed very well. It is an important way that an employer shows gratitude to the hard working individual / team.
These plaques are used all over the world in corporate businesses to congratulate worthy employees. The word plaque is from the nineteenth century and it means ornament tablet / plate. Bronze, Brass and Glass trophy plaques are made very beautifully and bought by many businesses. They are more commonly used today for awards than anything else; they are very attractive so that they catch the eyes of nearby gazers. They are prestige and show that the person on it was a very special somebody to the company.
They can be made for many different reasons like for team mates, rewarding employees, volunteering, family members or organisations. It basically is used for remembrance and thank you but in a stylish and effective way. Many of them have a special message or meaning on them to the people that are put onto them. They are well known as well for being used at memorials for people that have passed away. Plaques are long lasting items that perish very slowly, that is why they are good invests for all occasions.
The modern trophy plaques have several shapes, designs, materials, finishes, styles and sizes. They are made of the finest quality and have differently crafted techniques like photo, engraving, custom and perpetual. Some of the materials used in trophy plaques are glass, brass, bronze, crystal, wood, Lucite, steel, marble and aluminium. There are many etching services used for example lasers, sand, mechanical, silkscreen, die setting and silkscreen.
Engraving is a well known art. The hand engravings are very expensive but are rustic and authentically done. The machines have replaced a lot of hand work engraving though. They produce images easily and are less expensive. The lasers are precise and allow the person to burn text into most surfaces. The detail is outstanding and quick. Perpetual plaques have a main plate at the top and have smaller plates below, they are mostly ordered by companies so that their logo can be at the head and the names are put onto the smaller plates.
