As I perused my fifth style magazine this month,
I stopped quick when I saw Prada's new spring campaign. Below the gorgeous models in sleek, textured french-twists and crushed velvet/crepe skirts and capes (in ruby,plum,gold,amber and white) were the platform sandals of the spring collection.
My eyes gazed at the stitched knot detail with the ideal spring shoes. The delicate femininity on the knotted platform sandal invokes visions of luncheons and sophisticated infant showers. The respectability on the cap-toe slingback has you strutting from the parking garage to the workplace in true business enterprise chic. As well as the hotness from the python carries you from dinner to any hotspot inside the city, causing shoe envy at just about every crosswalk. They're wearable, fashion-forward heels that can translate all across town.
Beneath the knotted platform, python platform and cap-toe slingbacks have been the true treat. Matte-satin, ballerina footies beneath every pair of footwear. Ingeneous, I thought. The shoe undergarment of spring tied in so completely with the shoes. In actual fact, I've to admit, initially glance I believed the delicate footies had been attached.
