Tourism Brand is the imagination and emotion a country inspires in visitors (and inhabitants!). A set of beliefs and associations they hold about a place. A place becomes a direction, where people want to go to. A Tourism Brand is a promise of what to expect when you visit. So, keep that promise. You have to be able to offer what you bid. How to successfully use your Tourism Brand? Just start with the beginning. Outline the most important aspects of your tourism culture. Do you have many lakes, emphasize water sports for example or highlight your historical heritage. Create a logo, broadcast on the radio and television, make posters, have a twitter account. The country has to become something people can relate to, people can talk about and share. If you can make your country popular, then the rest is up to the people. Word of mouth marketing is the most effective one, keep that in mind. What you need to know is, patience is the key to everything. Rome wasn’t build in a day, so a country cannot have a Tourism Brand like in 1, 2, 3. It takes professional advice, carriage and endurance. ">If you think of Belgium, do you think about mussels, French fries and beer? If you think of Canada, do you think about many forests and lumberjacks? France, known for its baguettes, cheese and wine? But, a country itself wants all the noses in the same direction. Nobody wants to be assimilated with bad weather for example, but with many open plains, mountains, whiskey … (Scotland). Otherwise, that would have a negative influence on tourism. The number of visitors would slink and the inhabitants wouldn’t feel proud of their own country. So, of course, a country needs a brand.
