It is well acknowledged in the medical field that there is no cure for rheumatoid arthritis because it is a sort of chronic autoimmune disease. People who are affected with rheumatoid arthritis usually suffer from pains and swelling of the joints. At the very beginning, the pains and stiffness may not serious enough to raise people’s attention. People will generally just feel some inconvenience and limit of their movements. It is nothing big deal to them in that period of time. As the progress of rheumatoid arthritis, much more pains were felt and people gradually find it brings great harm and inconvenience to their lives. It is probably too late for them to find a complete solution to this. As it is said at the very beginning of this article, people can not manage a full cure for rheumatoid arthritis. All that they can do then is to find a way to control the condition, to relieve the pains. The best result of this issue or put it into another word, treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, is to relive all the pains and cope with the swellings of the joints, and hope that it will never occur again, which is called a clinical cure in medical field. Many people of many nations all over the world are suffering from rheumatoid arthritis now and many experts from generation to generation devote themselves to finding the way to cope with rheumatoid arthritis. Among there are two main ways of rheumatoid arthritis treatment people usually mention-western medicine and Chinese medicine. Western medicine usually treats people from the signs and symptoms. Doctors and experts do a lot of work to relieve the pains and control the condition. A lot of hormone drugs are used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Usually they can work but it brings a problem too-patients may need to take this hormone medicine for a long time, possibly for the rest of their lives. What’s more, these hormone drugs may to destroy some circling systems of the body, and bring great damage to internal organs such as lungs, heart, spleen, and kidney and so on, which is known as the side effects of western medicine. The advantage of this treatment is the rapid effect. The pains of joints may be relived quickly and not show up again if people constantly take the drugs. It will be good for those who have no long time to live or those with severe pains and emerges to relieve the pains. Chinese medicine deals with rheumatoid arthritis in a softer but slower way. Doctors in China usually treat rheumatoid arthritis by repairing the inner circles of the organs and systems of body. They make great effort to reestablish the strength of the body and make the body’s organs and systems works well again. Then the patients will gradually regain their healthy bodies and of course the pains and signs of the illness will be relieved too. It usually takes longer than western medicine to let the patients feel the effect. But it has its advantages too. The biggest advantage lies in that the constitutions of the patients are rebuilt so that the patients can defend themselves at certain degree without the dependence of any kind of drug. They can be fully capable of regular activities of every life once clinically cured. The choice of which kind of treatment for arthritis will be accepted is depended on the requirements of the patients. But I do think Chinese treatment for rheumatoid arthritis should taken if both Chinese and western medicine can work. It is healthier and safer and less harm and side effects compared to the western medicine. So what is your choice?
