CIC has declared 24 occupations on Canadian Immigration for the Federal Skilled worker visa. The visa applications on the same would only be entertained 4th May 2013 onwards. Canadian immigration qualifying occupation for federal skilled mention 24 of these in different sectors such as Public Health, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory, Investment Banking, Industrial Equipments, Engineering and Computer Science. As is described by the Minister Kenny, the Department of Citizenship and Immigration believes in having workforce which suits more to the economic needs of Canada. The country has for long suffered on account of insufficient stock of manpower and skills. On most instances the supply of skills has fallen short of industry demand as the quantity could not match the quality. The qualifying occupations are also reflective of the adjustments made on the immigration policy of Canada. The changes made to the Federal Worker Skilled Visa Program do make a statement on the economic viability of the immigration policy. Age is now being critically associated with the productivity factor as a younger age group is being preferred that could adjust well and contribute for a longer period of time. Similarly, the immigrants are expected to score more on all 4 criterion of the official language i.e. reading, writing, speaking and oral comprehension. A good score on IELTS ‘International English Language Test Score' is mandatory for the purpose. For a surprise change the skills of spouse too are being considered as an addition to the existing score on immigration evaluation. This also adds more to the over-all adaptability of the primary applicant. The changes do also speak about how the assessment is being done of the educational credentials of the immigrants as per the Canadian standards. Over all the policy seems to address the economic aspect of immigration and industry wide demand on skills. The Canadian immigration qualifying occupation for federal skilled makes sure that the applicants are well apprised of the available jobs in the economy. The NOC ‘National Occupational Classification' identifies all the vacant spots in the industry and enlists them as per the specifications on education and profession. The list makes a clear description of the specifications that the industry requires. This clarity helps the Canadian immigration authorities to choose the most competent and knowledgeable workforce. All the said occupations do also demand a good qualification on part of the immigrants on age, education, professional experience, skills, adaptability and abilities. Each application must score a least of 100 points on the assessment criteria to become eligible of immigration. However, a good score is not enough to fetch you a visa as the NOC list should also mention a spot that suits your criteria on employment. The classification speaks very broadly of the professional obligations, educational qualifications, professional experience and all the other skills that the applicant must possess. The said criteria must be kept in mind while filling up the visa application form so as to avoid a rejection. We are a Canada immigration visa consultant and we help people in getting Canada visa .
