What does SmartLipo Triplex have that other, earlier generations of SmartLIpo lack? When you’re looking for a liposuction surgeon who is capable of wielding this kind of refined technology, it’s important to really understand what you’re dealing with. SmartLipo Triplex is the latest and greatest in the SmartLipo family tree, but how can it lead to better results than some of its earlier counterparts? Patients who are searching for SmartLipo surgeons to create a sculpted final result that can really make them pleased, should consider the virtues of going with SmartLipo Triplex over earlier models of SmartLipo machines. The latest generation of SmartLipo devices can really make a difference in the final outcome. Liposuction that’s performed without some of the high-tech gadgets like SmartLipo is very basic. The plastic surgeon injects tumescent fluid into the targeted areas of the body to make the fat cells swell and become harder. Then, small incisions are made in the area for the insertion of a hollow tube known as a cannula. The swollen, hard fat cells are then suctioned out of the body through this tube. Manual pressure is used to dislodge the fat cells from the surrounding soft tissues in the body. Often, there is a lot of bruising and swelling after the procedure because the procedure can cause trauma to surrounding soft tissues like blood vessels and nerves. Many liposuction patients have turned to SmartLipo technologies in order to avoid some of the issues with regular tumescent liposuction sans the advanced technologies offered by laser lipolysis surgeons. When the first generation SmartLipo machines were first introduced, patients were wowed and excited by the possibility of experiencing less trauma, less bruising and swelling, and enhanced skin tightening. However, what they didn’t bank on was the possibility that the same lasers that saved them from the trauma of having fat cells manually dislodged from the body could also create thermal damage to the overlying skin. First generation SmartLipo machines often succeeded at causing less trauma and therefore less bruising and swelling, but unfortunately, some patients went home with burns in the targeted areas of the body because there was no way to really monitor the amount of heat that was being directed at soft tissues during the procedure. SmartLipo MPX machines (the MPX stands for “multiplex”) added a secondary laser wavelength to the system to make it more versatile, but it wasn’t until SmartLipo Triplex was invented that a laser-sensing tip was added to the machine to control those thermal burns. Though SmartLipo MPX was able to tighten the skin, patients still suffered burns from time to time. SmartLipo Triplex, in contrast, offers the smoothest results while controlling some of the risks associated with laser lipolysis, namely burns. When considering which technology to go with, patients should always choose SmartLipo Triplex in order to steer clear of the potentially devastating results of thermal damage to the soft tissues. This is perhaps the most important difference between SmartLipo Triplex and other, earlier generation models that are still available today.
