For people with diabetes, exercise does not seek for strength and quantity, but look for endurance and time. Because of large exercise intensity or excessive activity, so that patients are easy to lead to fatigue and discomfort, which make people’s disease worse. If patients can persist activities and exercise every day with appropriate ways, it not only promote the consumption of fat and lower blood sugar, but also could not produce fatigue and discomfort, which will greatly help to improve the condition to achieve the purpose of the exercise.

Medical research shows that exercise have the following benefits for people with diabetes: (1) improve heart and lung function, promote substance metabolism, enhance the body resistance and reduce the chance of infection; (2) improve tissue sensitivity to insulin, promote utilization of glucose of muscle and surrounding tissue, reduce blood sugar, enhance the hypoglycemic drug efficacy, smaller doses get a good effect; (3) accelerated fat to decompose, increase cholesterol-use and lose weight. In short, the movement can control high blood sugar, high cholesterol and high body weight, but also can reduce and control the risk factors of complications of diabetes, which play to prevent and delay the occurrence and development of complications role to benefit the patients. In a large part, the effect not is underestimated.

Due to the diabetes exercise aimed at lowering blood sugar, lowering blood pressure and reduce high weight, if we want to achieve these objectives, it is difficult to make substantive progress just to depend on assault movement. Only through a gradual and sustained long-term exercise, in order to truly benefit achieve "three down" intended purpose. So, only if the condition and the physical license, you should insist on the exercise 3-5 times a week. The best plan is that we can plan the activities and exercise to do every day.

Walking, aerobics, tai chi, skating, swimming, elderly dance and other sports are aerobic exercise, which is conducive to improve the body's metabolism, can be used as a suitable sports for people with diabetes.

But we should pay attention to that people are easy to appear the hypoglycemia to do sports before meals and postprandial movement immediately affect the digestive function, so the experts suggest that appropriate time is one hour after meals movement, which help control postprandial hyperglycemia.
