Across the world, children are even crazier of mobile technology and they are even more passionate to use smart phones and accessories than seniors. Key Results from Chile 1.Ownerships of mobile phone: About 79% of children started using mobile phones at the age of 10 years and 42% of them use smart phones. 2.Purpose of usage: About 61% of children use cell phones only for calling and texting. 3.Internet usage: 54% of children buy mobile phone for data usage 4.Use of applications: About 78% of children download apps on their smart phones (higher than 71% of parents’ usage) 5.Social Networking: 49% use social networking via cell phones; 26% of them set their profiles allowed for public access and more than 48% locked for public access. 6.Parents’ concerns: 91% of them are “concerned” and “very concerned” about high privacy of their children.
